#FridayFavorites on Twitter

by Ashley Drake Gephart on January 22, 2010

Recently, I started favoriting tweets which I think are funny. I thought that by sharing them, you could see why I enjoy following someone.

So, a new hashtag was born. A few weeks ago, I started using #FridayFavorites which is a spin on #followfriday. #FridayFavorites showcases our favorite tweets from the last week. If you mark a tweet as a favorite, show it off on Friday!

One question I have been asked is, “How do you get the link for just the tweet you want to show off?” Under the tweet itself, there is a time stamp. For example, you may see “8:25 PM Jan 16th”

or “less than 10 seconds ago.”

Those time stamps are links to the URL for the individual tweet. Now, just grab the URL of your favorite tweets to share.

Whether it’s humorous or informative, show them off! And don’t forget to tag ‘em #FridayFavorites!
