Recently, Twitter eliminated tweets in the search results that contained an “RT” in them. Retweeting (RT), in the old style, has been a major issue for many die-hard users of the site after Twitter implemented the new style RT.
Now Twitter is reverting back to include them. They had originally been removed to clean up duplicate content in the search results. (See post: http://thenextweb.com/socialmedia/2010/05/20/twitter-responds-to-missing-rts-saga).
Facebook recently decided that unless your fan page had over 10,000 fans or you had a large facebook adversting budget, you could no longer set a customized landing page.
After a large outcry from Facebook users, small and large, Facebook has now reinstated the customized landing page feature for all pages. (See post: http://www.marismith.com/default-landing-tabs-back-facebook-apologizes/)
