How Trustworthy Is Someone’s Online Image?

Testimonials

It’s easy to write puffery. I’m sure most of us could write thousands of words about how great we are or why our products are the best. But, honestly, who cares? Of course, we think we are fantastic and our products are stellar. What else would you expect us to say?

Let’s open it up. Show what others have said about you or your products. Don’t just grab a copy from emails. Link! Did a client mention you on their site? Grab a snippet and then link it up. A few words of praise from a third party speaks volumes over anything we can say about ourselves.

I don’t want you to tell me you’re great. I want others to tell me you’re great.

Bio

“Award-winning…client list… speaking events… TV appearances…” The list goes on. We can puff up our online bios with all kinds of relevant and exciting history. It’s not hard to toss up a website these days. Prove it. Transparency is the name of the game.

“Award-winning?” Link it, scan it, prove it. “Speaking events?” Link the event page. Better yet, link to the speakers’ section. “TV appearances?” Link or embed the video.

Check them out!

If you are looking to improve or increase your online reputation using verifiable information, we at Drake can help.
